We would like to let you know what a pleasant experience we had with finding and purchasing our home with Jim Barnett and Mary Lichtman as our realty team from your office. Being from Arizona and not familiar with the Charlotte area we turned to the internet for information. Ken indicated that we were in the market for a home and with hours Mr. Barnett phoned us personally to introduce himself and inquire as to our specific needs. In a matter of days Jim and Mary mailed us a very extensive information package on the Charlotte region and included some specific listings for our review. We were very impressed with their professionalism and attention to detail as well as the personal care we felt we were receiving from across the country.

Upon arriving in Charlotte Jim met us to begin our home search. Or family is large and we had some very specific space needs which were in short supply at the time of our visit. Jim and Mary did not give up on us. They both kept digging and through their tremendous team work found us a home that more than fit our family's requirements. Mary is very in tune with the various schools throughout the area and was diligent in keeping us within the schools which would best match our children's needs. Even when we became a bit frustrated and anxious to push out of our initial parameters, Jim and Mary were great equalizers and they did not take advantage of this momentary weakness on our parts. They kept us within our budget and found us a beautiful home in a very comfortable community.

Jim and Mary's personal touch did not end with the signing of the contract. In fact, once we returned to Arizona they were our eyes and ears throughout the entire inspection and closing process. They were looking out for our best interests right up until Jim met us at our new home the day the moving van arrived.

Professional Jim and Mary most certainly were but realize too that they were personally kind and offered many suggestions to make our transition into our new home and community an easier experience.

Dear Jim & Mary,

We are writing to say how thankful we are that our home search in North Carolina started with Prudential Carolinas. It doesnt seem possible that it was a little less than a year ago that we decided to start our home search in the Charlotte area and here we are now living in a beautiful home, in Weddington, all with your help.

Last September we decided to start looking and we began by going on the internet and doing searches for real estate agents in the Charlotte area. We looked at quite a few houses online, liked what we saw, but decided we needed to deal with an agent to get more information and schedule some actual visits to homes. We sent e-mails to three different agents and Jim, you were the only one who contacted us the next day via phone and were willing to answer any questions we had. Because of that call, we started a home search that resulted in a beautiful home and we met two great people.

Our first visit to Charlotte started with you, Jim, and it was an enjoyable time and something that we thought was going to be an exhausting process actually ended up being fun. We then started spending time with Mary who was such a pleasure to work with. She was very knowledgeable about the area, very energetic, never got tired of us asking her questions, and she knew exactly what our needs were. We will always be grateful to her for all of her time, dedication and patience in helping us meet our needs.

Thanks to both of you for helping us find our dream home in the Charlotte area and for treating us so kindly. We certainly will refer any other people we know to your agency. We hope we will stay in touch.

The following is a copy of a letter sent to Boker in Charge, Mike Thornburg, of the Prudential South Park office.

Dear Mr Thornburg:

I received your letter dated September 7, 2006 Requesting I fill out a form on my Agent, Jim Barnett. I am afraid that form will not surfice. I am writing to tell you that Mr. Barnett is the consumate professional. My journey started in early January, 2006. My family had decided to relocate from Sourh Florida to Charlotte. I knew of no realtor and had no friends to ask for a referral.

I did what most do these days, I turned to the internet. I found three relators web sites and Mr. Barnetts' was one of them. I e-mailed all three. The next day I received back an e-mail from Mr. Barnett and then a follow up call.

I met him in January, he even arranged for a discounted rate at a local hotel. I am a very discriminating buyer; he had his work cut out for him. He met the challenge easily. He showed me properties; I cannot count the number. He drove me around to all the areas so I could gert a feel for where I wanted to be. He advised me on the latest trends in the market. He took me to numerous communities and when I failed to ask important questions he did it for me. I truly felt that he was on my side, watching out for my best interest as a buyer to a new city.

I found a home, in Weddington Trace, built by Ryan homes. It had to be built. He never abandoned me in the building process. He was there to answer even the most mundane questions. He was there every step of the way through the building process, vaious inspections and multiple meetings with the builder, Ryan Homes. It was very assuring to have him on my side.

As is, I think, in any new built home. there are problems at the walk though. Mr Barnett made calls to his contacts immediately and I was very grateful to him for his intervention. He assured me all the problems would be corrected (and) we proceeded to closing. When I returned to the residence the workmen were swarming over our house correcting the problems. My family and I are extremely grateful we found Mr. Barnett. He is an asset to your company. I will and have recommended him to all I meet looking for Real Estate. I will not buy or sell any real estate without knowing he is on my side. He is my Realtor for life. We are now in our home and very grateful to Mr. Barnett for his dedication to seeing that all went well and was willing to go to bat for us. Thanks for your time and please pass this on to all parties that it may concern.
